Discover who you are as a coach

A deep understanding of what coaching is and developing the ability to be grounded in ‘who you are’ as a coach, what is expected from the role of a coach. 

Graduate with confidence, capability and competence

Coaches graduate with the confidence, capability and competence to coach at the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level as defined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and qualify for the Coach European Individual Award (EIA) at the Foundations or Practitioner Level.

How our Programmes work

Our Certificate in Professional Coaching programmes consist of 4 parts designed to fulfil the accreditation requirements of the ICF and the EMCC.

Live or On-Demand Content

Each Unit consists of three phases
​Pre-work, Instruction, and Post-work

Mentor Coaching / Supervision

Individual: 1 on 1 sessions
Groups: Group size of 10 participants or less and/or embedded in Observed Coaching Practice

Reflective Learning Assignments

All of our assignments are practical and formational giving you an opportunity to develop and demonstrate your capacity for learning through reflection.

Assessment and Feedback

We will cultivate a feedback rich environment and this will be a 360 degree approach through micro-practices, observed coaching practice and in reflective learning.

Post Work

Individual and Group Mentor Coaching/Supervision Sessions

3 x 1 hour Individual Mentor Coaching/Supervision Sessions scheduled at your convenience. For the remaining group mentor coaching/supervision sessions participants can join the sessions already embedded in the training schedule or sign up to other sessions through the links provided in the LMS.

Observed Coaching Practice Sessions

There are observed coaching practice sessions embedded in the training schedule. If participants miss any of these scheduled dates, they may sign up for additional sessions via the LMS.

Optional Peer Coaching Practicum

This activity gives coaches a chance to practise coaching in a safe environment and get to know other Transcend coaches outside of their training class. This activity also helps in building up your experience hours.

Reflective Learning Assignments

There are 5 written reflective learning assignments to be submitted at the end of the programme. The details of these assignments will be provided in the LMS. All of our assignments are practically linked to your accreditation journey and the development of your coaching practice. The time it takes for assignments to be completed is approximately 1.5 hours per assignment but this varies from coach to coach.

Completion Requirements

All students are expected to complete all aspects of the programme as indicated in the inclusions
section. In the event that attendance is not possible, then alternative solutions will be provided
that comply with ICF and EMCC coach training standards. Depending on the content in question
this could mean attending at a different time, reviewing the recording or having additional sessions
that do not fall under the previous two categories (may entail additional fees).

Certification

Successful completion of this programme earns the coach our Certificate in Professional Coaching
and is approved content for 76 Contact Hours. Students are eligible to apply for the ACC (Associate
Certified Coach) accreditation via the Level 1 Path upon the successful completion of both the
assessment and achieving the coach practice requirement of 100 hours. For those coaches
choosing the EMCC path to accreditation additional assignments will be required and you will be
recommended to the EMCC for accreditation at the appropriate level based on your coaching
experience and capabilities.
